Make anchor off one of many secluded, pristine, sandy beaches that surround islands dotting the lake. Take a picnic, swim, walk or simply relax. Cruise along or cast a line in search of bream, flathead or whiting. Don't forget to look out for dolphins.
Our Pontoon Boat is a 6.5m open 10-seater boat with a generous canopy covering the seating area. Fully equipped with BBQ and utensils, a stereo, comfy luxury seatings, storage, a swimming ladder as well as safety equipment and everything you need for a great time on the water.

10 months agoHad a fabulous day with the kids. We hired a runabout (dinghy with an outboard). Dylan (and Sandra) was super helpful. He gave clear instructions on how to operate the motor and navigate the channels. Wallis lake is just fantastic, even in winter on a sunny day. Lucky to be out at low tide, so had a amazing time on the sand bar in the middle of the main channel. Highly recommend Blue Peter boat shed. Will definitely go with them when in Forster again.

a year agoGreat service from Sandra who spent a lot of time with us to make sure we were comfortable with everything as it was our first boating experience, and especially with 2 kids (3y and 7y). We felt well received! We even managed to add an extra hour to the 2 hours tour as we enjoyed our time on the small sand island across the bridge. Cherry on the cake, Sandra is French as us so it definitely helped to get all the guidances in our native language. Always good to meet a fellow friend!

2 months agoTook my 2 boys aged 6 & 9 out today for 2 hours for a cruise in Wallis lake today. What an awesome experience, with all the scenery that Tuncurry Forster has to offer we also saw 2 families of dolphins. My boys were ecstatic! One thing I’d also like to add, blue Peter boat shed is a small family local business, husband and wife and a few tinlids. Be sure to support them as there boats and services are next to none. I will be back for another round next year.

2 months agoI had a disappointing experience at this boating hiring place. The lady owner was rude and impatient, yelling at us for not getting the boat moving faster, despite all of us being new to boating. At checkout, she made an inappropriate comment, saying, "Don't speak your language," which made us felt discriminatory. Additionally, we were forced to pay an extra $15, even though we had agreed on a price over the phone with her husband. Not recommended due to the unpleasant customer service, unexpected charges, and inappropriate behavior.
