3 months agoOur driver/guide, Joe, was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of information with us about the area throughout our half-day tour. Although most of the travel was along unmade roads, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The highlight was definitely Mikkira homestead where we saw many koalas with one mother and joey that were so close we could have touched them (but we didn't)! Joe provided us with hot drinks and biscuits for morning tea - which was very well received. We finished the tour at Winters Hill Lookout for fantastic views over Port Lincoln before returning to the cruise terminal.

3 weeks agoDid the Coffin Bay day tour, with a visit to the national park, oyster leases and a local vineyard. It was wonderful! Relaxed enough to be completely enjoyable whilst providing all the entertainment of a full-day excursion.

a year agoAmazing tour. We got Geoff for both the 1 Day Coffin Bay and 1 Day Port Lincoln tours. Both very enjoyable, made better by our fantastic guide and his homemade cookies. If you like seafood, wine and a smidgen of national parks, then go Coffin Bay tour. If you like wandering the National Parks and seeing koalas up close (literally 1m from the ground) then go Port Lincoln tour. Emus and kangaroos are abundant on both. Thank you Geoff for taking care of us!

a year agoWe thoroughly enjoyed our Port Lincoln day tour for cruise passengers. Geoff (Jeff?) was a fountain of information and also very flexible. We saw so much more than what was offered by our cruise line in their tour and would definitely tour again with Untamed Escapes.

a year agoI highly recommend this tour. Ian makes it a very personalized experience. Lots on the plate. Fantastic experience on a semi-submerged deck in the sea where we learnt about oyster farming, and we opened and tasted raw oysters. Amazing views of the coastline and the islands around Coffin Bay in the national park. Plenty of wildlife, especially emus. The seafood at lunch was out of this world. Great wine and fun at the winery before being taken back to our accommodation. Do not miss out!
