Hello! We are The Bell Tower
About

The Bell Tower is located on the majestic Swan River in vibrant Barrack Square and is one of the largest musical instruments in the world. It was built to house the bells of Saint Martin in the Fields church, in Trafalgar Square, London. The Bell Tower offers fascinating displays on the famous St. Martin bells and the ancient art of bell ringing, as well as spectacular views of the Perth city and the Swan River from the stunning open air Observation Deck. Step behind the scenes into the bell ringing chamber to chime the bells during an interactive Bell Chiming Experience. Home to the historically significant bells that date back to before the 14th century. See the Oldest Bell in Australia dating back to 1550. Watch the 6,500kg ANZAC Bell ring at midday. Record a free video postcard to send to your family and friends. Purchase an engraved Love Lock for a loved one and hang it at the Tower for everyone to see!

I love shooting structures and this is definitely one of the more unusual architectural design that I have come to expect from the city. I am glad I got to be here for the night shot with all the lights up! Next plan is to visit again during the day time to get some contrast shots of the tower against a bright blue sky on a sunny day. Of course, I would love to visit the interior of this modern bell tower as well. The view from the top must be magnificent!

Visited on a weekday (during school term). Not busy at all. The bell ringing tour is definitely worth the extra few dollars. There's lots to learn bout bell ringing, it seems there's a lot more skill involved than simply pulling a rope. The mechanics behind moving the bell, running the bell, installing a new one etc are quite interesting.

I have lived in Perth for 10+ yrs, someone had told me that the tour was not worth the money, I should have never listened. I found the Gold and Bells package which included a tour at another 'not yet visited' place of interest of mine, the Perth mint. Tour starts at 11, wish I knew I could of had access prior because I definitely needed more time to get around the levels. I really enjoyed the interactive part of the tour and just for that experience alone, money well spent. Staff are absolutely lovely. Finished up hanging with the Anzac bell and had to get to the Perth mint for a 12.30 tour.

A nice place to visit to learn a bit more about history of Perth and the Swan Bells. Quite fascinating to learn how the bell tower works. The tower is not that tall hence do not expect a bird's eye view of Perth when you go up to the top. Still a good place to be added into your itinerary when you visit Perth City. Entrance fees required.

We went in time for the 12pm bell ring. Nothing much happened, there are 6level only. Highest level was viewing, 5 level was viewing of the big bell and 4 level was watching the big bell ring and information on the bells. Other than that nothing else exciting there.
