I have flown on many helicopter rides, both professionally and as a tourist. The story here is about a huge mistake I made, and what this tour company did to get things right. I was in Sydney via a cruise ship. I booked two tours for the same date/time, not sanctioned through the cruise line. I attempted to contact both vendors to try to get this fixed. The “other” vendor had no phone numbers for customer service, and calling the tour location, they were unable to assist. I found an entirely different situation with Sydney HeliTours. Upon hearing my dilemma, Kali started trying to change schedules, and went so far as to contact other clients to see if they could change their schedules. To say the least, plans were changed several times, which was beyond our control, and each time, Kali went back to the mat for our benefit. Long story short, we ended up with our flight, for 30 minutes with an experienced pilot who flies professionally (seasonal) for a company in the Klondike (Alaska) as well as Sydney HeliTours in Australia. Was an experience we hope we will not forget which started with a very polite and friendly driver who took us to the helipad. We were in Sydney for only a few days and took the opportunity to see Sydney from the sky, together with Anthony our pilot. Good decision! thanks HeliTours

Sydney HeliTours was such a lovely team and I had the best time planning my brother’s proposal with them. Huge shoutout most especially to Rory for facilitating everything so all we had to do was show up! They even had a faux “check-in” so my brother’s girlfriend won’t suspect anything. There was coffee and music prior to flying so we weren’t bored. They were efficient and fast with their system and I love how even when everyone was excited because of the proposal, Rory was focused on our safety and the right protocol was his priority. He is really good at his job. So we were able to enjoy this moment while knowing we are not in any risk of getting blown away by the helicopter. Needless to say, the views from the helicopter were amazing! And I have to mention the free shuttle back to city was clean, fast, and the driver was so professional. Rory allowed all 9 of us to get on the shuttle because it was already late in the afternoon and there were no other clients left. I can’t say enough good words for this tour, it is so worth it!
