There’s so much more to Sydney than the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Our city lies on the world’s largest and most beautiful natural harbour, so no visit is complete without a trip on the water. To stay safe and really appreciate our harbour you need to avoid the crowds and big tourist boats, and see it with a local host. We specialise in authentic, small-group ‘sea & land’ experiences, going to places no other tour operators go, and telling stories about our city’s culture, history and marine life. We visit all the classic Sydney landmarks, but we travel much further up the harbour to explore the lesser-known places where only locals go. We’re the only boat operator in Sydney with Ecotourism certification and we can land right on the beach, so you’ll definitely get your feet wet! We’re a proud, local family business with a reputation for providing unique, high-quality itineraries and experiences. In 2019/20 we were awarded the TripAdvisor Hall of Fame, Oceania Boat Tour of the Year and were a finalist at the NSW Tourism Awards.

5 months agoZane made our experience FANTASTIC! We had a blast. From beaches and bays, to homes and the history of Sydney, this tour was nothing short of the highlight of our trip. Zane was so personable and clearly passionate about providing an unparalleled experience - I could not recommend requesting him for your tour more. We even got to swim a bit in the most beautiful water you’ve ever seen. See Sydney with this tour and eat amazing food when you stop by the CYCA, too. You won’t regret it!!

3 months agoIt was an unforgettable lunch tour where the guide took the five of us tourists roaming almost every corner around the central business district. In addition to explaining the natural scenery that we are already familiar with, it also runs through the content of human history. It's a rare opportunity to see almost all of the coastal structures around you from the sea. I really like it. I'd give it five stars.

From the initial booking to confirming details, adding extra’s, the trip itself with our trusty skipper Andy to departing the boat with smiles on our faces Frankly it was excellence all the way. 4 months agoI cannot speak highly enough of our experience with Sydney Harbour Boat Tours - absolutely first class and amazing! It was made extra special by our Skipper, Elody, who could not have been a more knowledgeable, kind and fun host. Elody made sure we got some amazing photos throughout, all while ensuring our champagne glasses were full - how she was able to do all this AND actually drive the boat I’m still not sure! We will be back in future for a longer tour because we did not want this one to end. We, especially my family visiting from the UK, will never forget it.
