Hello! We are Red Earth Safaris
About

Our tours are 'no frills' west coast experiences. All accommodation is in Backpackers/Budget Motels. While conditions can be basic, this is all part of the adventure. We stay in dormitory accommodation that may be mixed gender. Upgrades to single/twin/double are available at an extra cost - except at the farm-stay where we enjoy our outback experience.

One of the best tours I've been on. Darren was a great tour guide, very knowledgable and passionate about Australia. We had a great group and all got on but he made a point to ensure no one felt left out and was involved. Great price for what you get, decent hostels, enough food, a lot of space on the bus. If you do it make sure to do the whale shark swim it was amazing! P.s remember the fly nets because they are relentless at points

It was awesome! We saw so many great places and we were always well taken care of. Traveled with a group of 9 people. Darren cooked us great food in the evening that is also catered for vegan and veggie! Even got veggie alternative products. We were in heaven! 🍀 Also a good breakfast ready for the day :) The longer bus drives went past so easy. The hostels are really great. So no concerns at all! All awesome and good. And the sights we saw… oh I can’t stop dreaming! Thank you for this great tour. Highly recommend. Don’t wait. Just do it you will love it. And do the Manta Snorcel. You will love it as well! Haha :) Thank you so much!

Our trip along the West Coast of Australia with Boz (aka Darren) was the highlight of our 3 week family trip to Australia. After returning to Red Earth Safaris 25 years later now with our two 13 years olds and 17 years old the magic had not been lost. Yes it is a Backpackers tour, but that's part of the charm, simple living, and just appreciating some of the magical places you get to see and lovely people you get to meet. Yes there is a lot of driving but it's worth every mile. Sit back, relax and you never get bored of the Bush on the right and the coast on the left. Boz took us to some amazing places, stunning beaches, coral, views, watching whales jump wherever we went (the right season), Waroora Station my favourite. It was great mixing with the others on the trip and was a great experience for my kids mixing with the others travelling. Accommodation on route was basic but good and looked forward to prepping our breakfast and lunches and Boz's culinary delights in the evening. Lastly, it so easy to fly from Perth to Exmouth but you'd miss so much of what's in between and Boz does his very best to make sure you get to see it. An amazing way to see WA. Thanks Boz and hope we meet again.

Great tour. Activities were a tone of fun and our guide did an excellent job. Only thing that bugged me was that Turquoise Bay and diving with the whale sharks took place on the same day. I really wanted to do both of those however because of this I had to pick one. Maybe the activities could be shuffled around a bit so whale sharks could be done on one day and the bay could be done on another. Just a small gripe, other than that amazing tour!

Darren is an amazing driver and cook, super chill and friendly. Not a party/drugs tour at all. The tour's itinerary covers the main attractions and accomodations are pretty good. Excellent tour for those staying in Perth for a short period of time, first time travellers, students and backpackers. The company provides one way tours as well. Recommended. :)
