Pemberton Discovery Tours takes you on a journey through the wilderness near Pemberton, Western Australia. The business operates a fleet of 4WD charter vehicles and are experienced guides dedicated in showcasing the environment and the people who live in this beautiful region. The tours on offer highlight the most remote places in the region. Often inaccessible to traditional vehicles and a bucket list item for many. The Beach and Forest Eco Adventure is our most popular trip, a half day tour with options of seats onboard or tagging along in your own 4WD vehicle. The tour takes in the spectacular and usually inaccessible Yeagarup sand dunes, Yeagarup and Warren Beach and some of the best of the towering old growth Karri forests in the Warren National Park on a guided 4 hour adventure. During spring, some of the best wildflowers in Western Australia are seen in the coastal heath area on this tour so the tour tends to become a little more stretched to allow for more stops and photo opportunities over this time. The other tours and adventures on offer include a guided wine tour taking in the local wineries in the region, from half day to a little longer with lunch included. The Taste Pemberton Wine tour includes samples of local foods and what is seasonally available. The Bibbulmun Track traverses the region so transport onto and off the track can be an important part of a sectional walk. This transfer service not only gives people options to walk it also gives local knowledge on seasonal conditions. Vitally important when you are on the trails. This transfer service also includes the Munda Biddi Mountain Bike track. Pemberton Discovery Tours also the owners of WA Wilderness - a partnership with Parks and Wildlife to get people camping again!

3 months agoA great tour of the forest, of the dunes and of the beach & river mouth. There was a great friendly bunch of travelers in the tour so that was fun also. Graeme the tour guide did a great job and has so much knowledge to share of the whole district. The tour van was comfy, safe, had good air conditioning and excellent visibility. It was great tour that I’d recommend to avid adventurers.

a month agoAmazing experience! Graeme is such an amazing driver and navigates the dunes like a pro. So many different terrains and sights to see. We had such a fun group and Graeme gave us such interesting facts along the way about the different landscapes. This was my friend’s FOURTH time to book with him and now I know why. Highly recommended! 5 ⭐️!

4 months agoA half dozen of us took the half-day tour with Pemberton Discovery Tours through the Karri Forest and Yeagarup Dunes to Yeagarup Beach in March 2023. Wow! The trip was phenomenal and breathtaking. Some of the most spectacular places in southwest WA are inaccessible by regular roads and cars. You need an off-road vehicle with a highly-skilled driver to navigate through sand dunes and rough terrain. I emphasize that a skilled driver is essential, and Pemberton Discovery Tours guides were certainly skilled. Meanwhile, we saw several people with their own 4 wheel drive vehicles bogged in the soft sand. (Our driver helped a couple of them.) NOTE: Travelled in March 2023. (A bit delayed getting to this review.)

in the last weekA fantastic trip from Pemberton to the mouth of the Warren River. Our host Graeme was extremely knowledgeable about the all aspect of the forest and surrounding area. We enjoyed the stops to take in the scenery through the D'Entrecasteaux National Park. The drive across the Yeagerup Dune was amazing as was the trip across the beach to the mouth of the Warren. The Southern Ocean was calm today with spectacular views. Lunch was in the NP with coffee and a glass of local wine. Great time chatting with the other guest. Highly recommend this tour when you are in the area.
