Melbourne Street Art Tours was designed by street artists to give the best representation of the Melbourne underground street art scene. Melbourne Street Art Tours are managed by Adrian Doyle, currently a PhD candidate in fine art, who set up and has managed the Blender Studios street art hub since 2001 and is also the director of Dark Horse Experiment and a research art gallery the Melbourne Projection Space. He is currently working with the City of Melbourne as a street art consultant to develop a sustainable strategy for Melbourne City and its policies on street art.

3 months agoI took my daughter, who is a young artist on this tour and it was amazing. The artist who took us on the tour was outstanding, she talked art with my daughter(which I didn’t understand much😂), inspiring her to follow her passion even though it’s not street art. We really enjoy Melbourne from different angles, different view points, it was really interesting.

a year agoI'm an artist so I chose a private tour with an artist. What difference does it make? First, of all my artist guide pointed out some of his art on the walls. Second, he personally knows many of the artists and the stories and history of their art on the walls. Third, we were able to discuss technique and application rather than just look: we analyzed. It had to be the worst day EVER for a walking tour. It started pouring rain and the wind made it almost impossible to use our umbrellas. The gutters were flooding, but bless Jess, he stuck with us. The Blender Studio tour was great too. We dried off, had a few snacks and a little wine. It was a day that fed my soul.

5 years agoMelbourne Street Tours gave us an amazing tour! I feel like we really got to know the real Melbourne. Our guide, Ben, was so knowledgeable and was passionate about the scene. It made a bid difference to us.

a year agoI Can not recommend this tour enough! It Totally opened our eyes to street art, graffiti and tags in a new way. Our guide, Tom, was a wealth of knowledge and clearly passionate about the art. He made the tour super interesting and fun - but still challenged our thinking. It was good to meet some of Blender Studio’s key members and experience how beautifully the community looks after each other. If you are thinking about it doing this tour, do it. X

5 years agoThe street Art tour with Artist @junkyprojects Dan was top notch. Dan was articulate and informative - engaging the students to think about the artist's intention & message and, question the big picture of the environment they inhabit and it's influences. It was terrific to see artists at work in their spaces @ Blender Studios at the conclusion of the tour.
