At Margaret River Surfing Academy we know that you want to be able to ride waves and have an epic time. It is important to first learn basic surf skills and how to read the waves. The ocean can be a threat to your safety which can make you feel extremely vulnerable. We believe that you don't need to put yourself in any situation where your safety could be in jeopardy. We understand what it feels like to be out of control in the ocean. That’s why we've spent the last 28 years teaching thousands of beginner surfers the essential skills so that you can become a confident surfer, get fit, and most of all just have fun!

4 months agoAbsolutely thrilled with our first-ever surfing lesson at Margaret River Surfing Academy! The instructors were not only highly skilled and safety focused, but they were also incredibly patient, making the experience enjoyable for both the adults and the kids in our group. Their passion for surfing and dedication to teaching shone through, creating a positive and memorable atmosphere. From mastering the basics to catching our first waves, the guidance was top-notch. We couldn't have asked for a better introduction to surfing. Kudos to the entire team at Margaret River Surfing Academy for an unforgettable day by the waves! 🏄♂️🌊

3 months agoHad a blast with our instructor who was very positive and encouraging, it wasn’t a stiff or impersonal lesson and just adjusted according to how we were going which is perfect for this kind of experience. Loved it and will recommend all the time

3 years agoEverything you'd want from a surf school. Safe, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and fun. They provided a wetsuit, board and wax. All you need is a towel and some zinc. My 12 year old loved it. Great guys with heaps of love for the sport that they want to share with you. Highly recommended.
