The Koorie Heritage Trust at Federation Square takes Koorie peoples, cultures and communities from the literal and figurative fringes of Melbourne to a place that is a central meeting and gathering place for all Victorians. Our location at Federation Square is a recognition of our shared history and the importance of Koorie peoples as part of a broader 21st century community.

2 months agoWe came here for a Heritage walk - very interesting tour and extremely insightful into the culture, beliefs and ways of life of aboriginal peoples. The gallery is very nice and gives an opportunity to local artists to exhibit. Really recommend it!

2 months agoUndertook Cultural Safety Training here and it was wonderful and so informative. Our teacher Tim was absolutely brilliant and very engaging. I'm so grateful for the insight and wisdom that was shared. Also visited the gift shop after and it is lovely, lots of beautiful things to buy!

3 weeks agoIt was less than expected. Our group paid for a private tour and I don’t think it worth it. I think our guide was tired, or having a bad day or something. In contrast of other people’s comments, our explanation was very superficial, covering like the very very basic . Also, the pretext for the guide to make the visit very short outside was the weather, but it wasn’t even raining. Also I think they could speak more slower, since the tour was for English students. Some of them couldn’t even understand the whole explanation.
