It is a pleasure to dive with professionals like Alex and Irais, exceptional treatment that has made me feel at home. They have made sure that it was a calm and safe dive that was also interesting and fun. (They also speak Spanish, an added bonus!!)

Had the pleasure of going out on a beginner dive at Cook Island off Tweed Heads. My instructors Diago and Mario were fabulous, very patient , incredibly knowledgeable and comforting. It’s foreign to breath under water, it was quiet a confronting situation for me. They assured me that I could do it and helped me all the way. I ended up going down 5 metres and saw some amazing fish and turtles. Fabulous experience I highly recommend this company….. 6 stars

Lovely ride. I took my 11 year old son to have his first serious snorkelling tour. He was very excited with his new GoPro, which he would use to film turtles! And here’s some of the results. He never left the buoy the tour guide pulled him around, and still he was able to see cartloads of turtles in the shallows, in complete safety. After getting back to the boat he felt sick (we had to wait for the scuba divers to return and the boat was stationary), so next time I’ll heed advice and give him antihistamines prior to the trip. Still as soon as the boat started the trip back he was good again, giving thumbs up to the experience! Thank you Helena and Diego and all the tour guides for an unforgettable experience!

We had a fantastic time. Was a bit nervous at first but the instructors were very caring, friendly and encouraging. Scuba diving can be a daunting experience but Filipe and Diego had made our experience so nice that we want to do it again. There was a lot of information and education beforehand and plenty of practise to ease us to the bottom of the ocean. The equipment were meticulously checked and wetsuits provided were cleaned. No smell at all. Emergency briefings were given so they do have a contingency plan. I would say they have very high standards. It was a very memorable first scuba diving experience.

I just completed my open water certification through Gold Coast Dive Centre and would recommend it for anyone wanting to get their certification. The classroom part is short, as you complete the majority of it online before you attend in-person. There is so much focus on safety, so for someone unsure about diving, it’s incredibly reassuring. You learn all about things that could go wrong, and how to solve the problems underwater with lots and lots of practice. The exit dives are done over two days, testing your skills with a buddy, in front of the instructors. It’s broken up so you have time to learn how to correct any mistakes. The instructors in particular were amazing. They really made us feel confident and helped us all so much. Thanks to Heitor, Diego, Jonny and Indo for such a cool experience. I can’t wait to go on a fun dive now! The only other thing I’d note is it would be good if there was a separate class for small children and their parents to attend.
