"Our aim is to source local botanicals to produce a flavour that reflects a sense of place " Located in Wilyabrup, Margaret River, Dune Distilling Co has been inspired by its home. The West Australian coastline provides us the perfect inspiration for distilling. The marvellous balance of rugged, uncompromising terrain coupled with the beauty of its native flora provide the perfect muse.

3 months agoEncountered this distillery as part of a regular craft gin subscription. I haven't attended the physical location so cannot comment on it. The gin itself holds it's own against the best in the craft market though is not individually remarkable. In other words it is in keeping with my expectations when partinge with $ for a premium product. What did impress me was the pre-mix blueberry and sage 'cocktail'. Super refreshing, huge hit if blueberry and not needlessly sweetened. Touch of sage spectacular. Just ordered a 16 pack. I'll be staring at the doorbell for the next week waiting for the postie 😉

in the last weekOrdered the Mushroom Medley Pizza and On Tap Cocktails that were to die for. The atmosphere is cosy, classic and moody.

a year agoVery disappointing. We went there to taste gin, with intent on buying one we liked, but the only option for a tasting was a four drink paddle for $30. While we were happy to pay a fee for tasting, this wasn’t a realistic option when we didn’t know if the gin was worth drinking. When we wanted to ask more about the gin, the person who was at the tasting bar was gone. We waited and looked for her, but then lost interest. It is a beautiful venue, but apparently more of a bar/restaurant than a distillery.

7 months agoThe tasting paddle for gins was really fun to do and would be a great stop for a winery tour!
