Our sanctuary is home to over 1500 butterflies, all of which are bred in our very own breeding laboratory. Our butterflies include the local rainforest species, including the electric blue Ulysses, the majestic green and yellow Cairns Birdwing and the Monarch butterfly. We offer a range of experiences for the whole family – from educational immersive exhibits to guided tours through the aviary and breeding laboratory.

2 months agoGreat place 😁👍 a lot of 🦋 👩⚕️🦋It is worth taking advantage of the free guided tour. The staff explains things very interestingly and you can get a lot more from this place than visiting it on your own. Tours start approximately every 30 minutes. 🐛🦋🌿You can see caterpillars, cocoons, butterflies and moths. small place but worth seeing. If you are lucky, butterflies will land on you

in the last weekIt's a cute little stop. There is 1 large enclosure with all the buterflies, we saw lots but were sad none of them landed on us. I wouldn't schedule more than 30 min here unless you have a little butterfly enthusiast in your party.

4 months agoNot a very big place but its beautiful to see so many butterflies flying around! If you are lucky you will get 1 or 2 landing on you, maybe wear brighter yellow or pink clothes to attract them! Also highly recommend asking a staff member to show and explain what is happening in the breeding section.

4 months agoSitting in a butterfly habitat sooths the soul. They have such a great array of indigenous and monarch butterflys to enjoy. You only need 30-40 minutes but it is worth the stop. The "museum" section is air conditioned if you need a breather and the staff was sooo friendly. The lovely woman even filled my water bottle with cold water seeing that the heat was troubling me.

3 months agoPretty, some lovely photos be had. Not a place I would stay too long at, but enjoyed a short visit. Staff at counter were really lovely and chatted and very informative.
