ACES is a privately owned family business, existing solely to provide unforgettable flying experiences to those who also love aeronautics. For us, flying is a passion that we’ve held since our youth and being able to soar through the sky above the stunning Sydney coastline is a dream come true, a dream that we wanted to share with others. To that end, ACES has joined forces with the Australian Aerobatic Academy (AAA) to create a range of unique warbird adventure flight experiences close to Sydney. Enjoy the thrill of an adventure flight in our Yak 52 TW, an aircraft originally designed for military pilot training. From arrival to departure, you will be in the competent hands of our Chief Pilot, Peter Townsend, who is the owner of AAA and a highly accomplished Aerobatics Competitor with over 25 years of experience. Safety and professionalism are our first priority. Rest assured, if you ever feel uncomfortable you need only speak up and we will immediately adjust your experience to suit you.

in the last weekGoogle needs to have more stars to rate. I received this experience as a 60th birthday present. What a truly amazing adventure!!! Olga aka YAK 52 is a beautifully maintained aircraft. Alex and Peter are passionate professionals. Peter took me up over the Hawkesbury and with the aerobatic 3G loop; barrel roll and hammer head made the flight more unbelievable. Little cheeky touches like the Russian National Anthem and Top Gun sound track thrown in make the event memorable. My memories from my time in the Airforce came flooding back. I feel the need; the need for speed!! and will definitely be back for more. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon. I can’t stop smiling. Pat

a year agoAbsolutely amazing experience climbing into the cockpit of the Yak-52 and taking flight. A lovely aircraft that has been well maintained and is pretty special to fly in, especially with the wonderful pilot Peter. The scenery on our route was beautiful and there is no better view than from low in the air. From flying over the coastline and seeing the Seacliff Bridge, to maneuvering along the river and flying low over the dam, there was plenty to take your breath away. Then there was the epic fun and excitement of the aerobatics. What an experience! No words to describe how good it was. Much fun had. Highly recommend!

3 years agoAlex and Peter were so professional and obviously had a passion for what they do. Climbing into the cockpit of the immaculate Yak-52 I had a grin from ear to ear. It just got better from there on. Thanks for the chance to experience some serious thrills.

a year agoBought as a birthday gift, the first attempt was rained out by the Sydney flood but we were given plenty of reschedule options. Everyone was great, he loved it and would come back for more
