The popular seventies textile art has been making a comeback, and at this three hour hands-on workshop you'll be making your own boho-cool wall hanging to take home.
Learn what you need to get started, and the basic knots to master, from a larkshead and reverse larkshead to attach to your frame, to the half and square knots that will make up the majority of your hanging. Once you master those, don't be surprised at how quickly your work of art will take shape. With everything crafty provided, all you need to bring is some nibbles and something to drink.

3 weeks agoA fantastic workshop with Tamie. Incredible staff and great atmosphere. Thanks for an incredible experience. Started with the board. Ended up with the ultra gloss finish that was mirroring the skylights. The staff were fantastic as were the others in the group. Definitely recommended for the artist looking for new inspiration or an absolutely new novice.

a week agoOur family of four had a blast at DIY Invasion. Especially our 5yo whom can't wait to go again. He loved throwing around the fluoro paint filled balloons as well as sliding around on the floor, which gets very slippery (see photo). Our 3yo enjoyed painting us and the walls but didn't so much enjoy getting covered in paint and the cold shower afterwards. In the summer, showering with a hose would suffice but not so much in the cooler months. Also, make sure you wear white to get the best results and photos. And don't forget to bring a towel.

3 months agoWhat a wonderful day! Tammy was so informative and helpful a great teacher. The course to learn about Resin Art was so much fun and we had something to show, tell and use after (large lazy Susan and Charcuterie board) This was a great Christmas pressie to each other and an activity we will do again for sure. 5stars easily.
