As we continue your adventures, we wind our way to Litchfield National Park where you get the chance to swim and cool off in blissful spring-fed waterfalls, join in a guided walk in the tropical monsoon vine forests and experience nature in its finest form. Take the opportunity to engage in learning and experience about ancient First Nation bush food and medicine, passed down from their ancestors for thousands of years. Admire natural sandstone formed landscapes and the unique birds and wildlife in their natural habitat. A specialized guided walking tour taking you to the rocky bottom of Florence Falls via Shady Creek or Wangi Falls. All the while you led by an experienced and qualified local guide.
You can choose to do a self-guided walk from Buley Rock Hole to Florence Falls approx. 20 mins or walk down the 135 steps to the plunge pool of Florence Falls.
At Wangi Falls you have many options:
Choose to walk to the top of the falls and watch the water streaming down over sandstone cliffs, or choose to cool off into the large plunge pool, or relax in the picnic area and watch the amazing waterflows between two falls cascade over the rock escarpments, grab a cool drink or an ice-cream from the Wangai Cafe.
A delicious lunch served at Wangai Falls, follow the trail and head down to the top of the lookout to observe the spectacular view of 102 plunge waterfalls or walk around the top of the falls through an ancient cycad forest.
On our way back were stopping at Batchelor Butterfly Farm for a cool drinks or dessert. Enrty to the Butterfly farm to explore our brilliant Australian butterflies and experience the wonderful Animal Petting zoo around, enjoy feeding goats, chickens, ducks, rabbits pigs, donkeys and cows is an optional choice at your cost.

Dan provided a friendly and inclusive service with informative and funny commentary. He made sure everyone on the group was looked after and had a great time. 3 weeks agoOur driver, Dan, picked us up and dropped us off anywhere we wanted. He was extremely knowledgeable and his love for Litchfield park was quite evident. He made us all feel like family. We saw and swam at beautiful waterfalls. Wonderful day. Only 12 other adventurers, on the comfortable coach. Lunch was delicious. This has to be one of the best tours we have experienced. Highly recommended.

2 weeks agoCould not rate this tour highly enough. Especially with Aaron who was a wonderful down to earth knowledgeable tour guide. The day was informative as well as relaxed and enjoyable. Lots of banter and the small personable group was a lot better than some of these larger impersonal tours. Definitely worth it.

a month agoFantastic day out! Beautiful waterfalls and crystal clear swimming holes. Aaron our tour guide was amazing, a wealth of information on all things N. T. Including bush Tucker and bush medicine. Aaron is very welcoming, friendly and professional, he went out of his way to accommodate us! The butterfly farm was a unique treat! A must do day trip while you are in Darwin!

A big shout out to Aaron Our guide, who’s commentary throughout the day was educational, entertaining and enlightening particularly discussing the history, geography and bush tucker! Aaron picked the less crowded spots to swim at the various falls. I work for the travel industry and this tour is one of the best I’ve done. The tour is great value for money and well paced. The day was thoroughly enjoyable and a highlight of my wife’s and I pre Kimberley Cruise. Love the selfie Aaron🤣
