My partner and I had a wonderful experience with this company. The team did an excellent job explaining everything and ensured we had the best experience possible. During our flight, we were treated to a stunning sunrise over Hunter Valley from above the clouds—it was truly memorable. I've noticed some complaints about helping the team pack up the balloon, but honestly, it's a simple task that anyone on board can manage. There's no need to employ extra staff for a job that takes just 5 minutes, which would only increase the cost of this fantastic experience. I'd be more than happy to lend a hand again next time! The breakfast was absolutely fantastic—so many options to choose from! A big thank you to the team. I would definitely recommend them!

Professional team, excellent experience. Got the photos on the same day afternoon after the sunrise Ballon flying. Our breakfast package is in Rydges Resort Hotel which is tasty. Highly recommended. They rotate the balloon during sunrise to make sure all passengers can get a nice picture of the sun. Very caring and sweet - Fly with Nathan on 3 April 2024, we love him.

Our ballooning experience earlier this week was phenomenal! As the conditions were great we went up 4000 feet, and it was serene smooth sailing of the skies taking in stunning Hunter Valley views. This was on my bucketlist since I was a child and it really exceeded my expectations. Our instructor Nathan was lovely and very capable with 17 years experience, so he was also full of interesting insights. Highly recommend to everyone!

I went hot air ballooning for my birthday and it was a great experience! Nathan was our pilot who was so friendly and patient. He took the time to explain the logistics of the balloon and also throughout the flight provided us with some insights into wineries. Breath taking views and probably is best to go during spring/summer! We stayed at Rydges and thats where the meeting point was. Be ready to have an early morning as need to leave the hotel by 4:30am! We arrived back for breakfast after the flight around 7am. Buffet breakfast with great options and champagne also was available. Definitely something that everyone should try once as it is memorable and totally worth it!

Highly Recommended!! Our pilot Steve he was very professional and entertaining. He made sure our trip was enjoyable. The sunrise view was amazing, the whole flight was very safe and the landing was super smooth. Breakfast at Rydges was one of the best buffets I have ever had especially the Apple & caramel muffins with champagne on top. Photos are free of cost too. I would definitely recommend flying with them.

Beyond Ballooning operates balloon flights early in the morning as close to sunrise as possible, but specifically does NOT guarantee Passengers will be in the air at sunrise.
In the event that minimum numbers are not met, Beyond Ballooning reserve the right to reschedule your balloon Flight for a later date.
Weight Notification; Beyond Ballooning will require, for Flight manifest purposes all Passengers’ names and their weights in kilograms. Maximum weight for an individual Passenger is 130 kilograms.
Minimum Age Requirement; Children are welcome and must be accompanied by a paying Responsible Adult. Children ages are between 7 to 14 years. Adult prices will apply from age 15 years and upwards. Infants are not permitted due to CASA regulations and guidelines.
Disabled Passengers; are able to balloon, although limitations do apply due to CASA regulations. CASA requires that all Passengers are able to embark and disembark a balloon basket unassisted for safety reasons. No wheelchair facilities are available. Disabled persons participating in the balloon Flight do so at their own risk and the company accepts no liability for any damage or injury caused. As the Flight is for approximately one 60-minute duration, Passengers must be able to stand unaided for the duration of the Flight. (i.e., no additional aids such as seats, walkers, sticks or crutches are permitted in the basket). If in doubt, an able-bodied passenger (friend or relative) must accompany any “slightly infirm” Passenger/s.
Pregnant Women; regrettably under CASA regulations and Beyond Ballooning’s Policy, are not allowed to fly if 12 or more weeks pregnant.

Cancellation Policy

Any Booking cancelled within 72-hours prior to Flight date will forfeit the full fare per Passenger and will not be refunded.
Any Booking cancelled outside of 72-hours of Flight date will incur a cancellation fee of $50.00 per Passenger.
