A great day out with knowledgeable staff. The island reef is in good condition and we saw lots of fish, turtles and molluscs. The lunch was tasty and fresh, loved the prawns. Our snorkel safari guide was very attentive and clearly has a lot of marine biology knowledge. My partner had never snorkelled before and is a poor swimmer but she was able to have a snorkel with help from the guides. She felt safe and had a great time.

We hired two tours through Cairns Discovery Tours and everything went perfect. Marie called us by phone to do some suggestions about the best days for do the tours following the weather conditions and it was very exact! Very kind and attentive to our needs. Recommended 100%

While staying at Rydges Cate and Myself went on two different tours. First on 28/04/24 with Carlson to Daintree, Mossman and Crocodile trip down the river Second on 2/05/24 with Jeremy to Paranella Park, Milla Milla Falls, Burbinda Boulders, Meena Creek, south part of Atherton, etc etc. On this one with Jeremy we saw a Tree Kangaroo and a Platypus. A very rare sighting to see two Aussies in one day. We had a fun adventurous time on both tours. Morning teas and lunches were all tasty and in lovely towns. Carlson and Jeremy were a wealth of information, full of enthusiasm and fun We felt safe and comfortable on this tour. Definitely recommended from us. I had a great time at Green Island and the outer reef. Reserving the tour from Japan, Maryanne was very kind to inform the detail about the tour in advance both via chat and by e-mail. I really enjoyed the snorkeling at the outer reef, it was very beautiful and very easy with beginner like my family. I recommend this tour very much!!

From beginning to end, the Cairns City Sights and Surrounds Tour was fabulous! Despite it being a half day tour, it was jampacked with varied, interesting, and engaging activities; all for a very reasonable price. Chris, the busdriver/guide was caring, friendly and easy to communicate with. As well as demonstrating a sound knowledge of the history, geography, main attractions, architecture and demographics of Cairns, Chris went out of his way to ensure all members of the group were catered for. He constantly checked the numbers and looked out for those with any mobility issues. The itinerary included viewing the beautiful stained glass windows at the Saint Monica's Church; a fantastic visit to the Cairns Museum, complete with a local volunteer to guide us through the exhibits; visiting the Botanical Gardens; enjoying a delicious afternoon tea at NOA Cafe; visiting the scenic Barron Gorge and Surprise Waterfall and finally enjoying a short wander around Palm Cove, one of the beautiful Northern beaches. I loved this tour! It is the perfect tour for people of all ages, especially those visiting Cairns for the first time. 5 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
