Urban Exposure is a social justice education program.
It’s an opportunity for people to experience and explore the issues of urban poverty - homelessness, addiction, mental health and trauma.
Their Urban Walk programs are popular with groups looking for community service opportunities or team-building activities.
The 1.5-hour walks are presented by current or former patrons of Rough Edges with lived experience of homelessness and addiction. The presenters share their life stories as they walk and talk at various locations around Darlinghurst and Kings Cross.
Rough Edges has been serving the needs of homeless people in Darlinghurst and Kings Cross for the past 25 years.
