This tour allows you to see Cape York from all angles -- from the air & by comfortable 4WD.
Cape York is one of the most beautiful and diverse real wilderness areas left on Earth today. The flora and fauna range from the most delicate of orchids to the most robust of melaleucas which are home to thousands of birds, animals, and reptiles.
Your Scenic Flight to Bamaga is low level. We will show you parts of Cape York which are inaccessible by vehicles, such as Cape Melville, the silica sands of Cape Flattery, Bathurst Heads, Princess Charlotte Bay, the Flinders Islands Group and remote sections of the Great Barrier Reef rarely ever seen.
The 4WD section of the tour takes you to Australia's Northernmost beach - Frangipani Beach- via the Lockerbie Scrub and a pocket of Northern Rainforest. From Frangipani Beach we walk approximately 1000 meters to the Tip of Cape York – the northernmost tip of Australia!
INCLUDED: Return airfares, local guide, and 4x4 tour to the top of Australia, lunch, snacks, and drinks.
We will show you Lookout Point, The Jardine, Endeavor, Wenlock and Daintree Rivers, Forbes Islands, Cooktown, Cape Flattery, Cape Melville, Cape Grenville, Cape Tribulation, and the Iron Range and Lakefield National Parks just to name a few.

a month agoI went on a scenic flight to the Great Barrier Reef with Daintree Air Service. It was an excellent experience! The staff was professional and friendly, providing top-notch service. The pilot was exceptional, ensuring everyone had a view by circling the plane twice throughout the more than 45-minute flight. Overall, I highly recommend it; I was thoroughly impressed.

2 months agoBETTER THAN A HELICOPTER! This experience was great. The company was highly professional yet down to earth. The safety brief was informative and funny. ITS THE LITTLE THINGS! Like clean windows so we can take photos without scratches or smear marks. Like the pilot turning the plane to both right and left sides so we could see what he was talking about. Also going around a rain patch instead of thru which was both picturesque and stopped rain drops on the windows. The reason I reckon it’s better than a chopper is we were at 1000-1500 metres and we got a great over view of the reef rather than being lower and having a smaller scope, unless you want to land on an island, a chopper would be better. The 40 minutes was made up of 20 minutes over the reef and its small islands and 10 minutes flying out to the reef and 10 return both giving views of Cairns and its surrounding islands and maintain ranges. Great commentary even listening to the pilot communicating with other pilots as well as the tower. All in all well with the money which is cheaper than a chopper and in my opinion better views overall. We felt safe, comfortable and considered for a very scenic view

a month agoMust do when in Cairns! You don’t get a real feel of the Great Barrier Reef unless you see it from the top :) The service was extraordinary. Loved Greg who showed me his personal photo collection of indigenous drawings he found throughout the years. He was very fond of his homeland nature and people ❤️ The staff is like a small family, I could see they love what they do. They had amazing sence of humor and continuously monitored the weather to make sure we are safe. The day I arrived there was a storm so flight was cancelled - they offered to refund me or reschedule. I chose the latter as I dont give up easily and flew couple days later :) And it was SO worth it. I was sat right next to the pilot who was guiding us through the entire flight and made sure we get the best view of the reef. One of the best experiences I had in my life 🥰

6 months agoA fantastic experience and well worth the cost, we were fortunate to have stunning weather and Cameron our pilot also made it a relaxing and enjoyable flight. The reef was the other star of the day and from the air it gives you the opportunity to get an idea of the size of these individual sections of the overall reef. I would highly recommend Daintree Air Services.
