Set on 100 acres of World Heritage Rainforest, this unique tourist attraction is situated five minutes travel from Kuranda Village, and half an hour from Cairns in Tropical North Queensland, Australia. This eco-friendly attraction has three unique experiences: Army Duck Tours through the rainforest on both land and water; the Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience with a traditional dance performance and guided Dreamtime Walk with boomerang throwing, spear-throwing and didgeridoo playing; and a Koala & Wildlife Park, where you can see native Australian animals, including crocodiles, wombats, dingoes, and the cassowary, as well as handfeed kangaroos and have your photo taken cuddling a cute koala.

a week agoCute place to spend a couple of hours. The Tassie Devils were a highlight. They were so cute and inquisative. 😍 The Aboriginal cultural experiences were fun, and the guys were lovely to chat with. I also had a lot of fun on the duck boat tour. We had Mark as our guide, and he was funny and informative. I recommend going for the 3pm departure as it's much quieter than the morning ones.

2 months agoWe had decided to spend a day searching for waterfalls, and we drove past this place and decided to stop. What a great idea to stop. It was really really fun to see all the animals. I got to pet a kangaroo and feed them and the koalas were so cute. I really enjoyed feeding a cassowary the animals were really fun and you got to see all the native Australian ones up close. We did the duck tour that went through the rainforest our guide was excellent. He explained all the flora and Fauna and stopped and showed us, a lot of different trees, butterflies, birds, and even some really really creepy spiders. I definitely would recommend doing the Duck boat tour. They had a nice gift shop and then a place that you could have all you can eat barbecue lunch. It was very affordable about AU$25 each. They had yummy barbecue chicken. They had some steak some sort of sausage I had tofu stirfry and a delicious pumpkin soup And wonderful exotic fruit to eat. I would definitely recommend staying for the buffet. It was well worth the money we spent. If you’re in the area, this is a must stop place to visit.

4 months agoA bit expensive for what's available but if you haven't seen many of the animals they have in the wildlife park then it's still worth a visit. I'd definitely recommend the army duck tour, fantastic little trip, friendly staff and a good look at Cairns' rainforests.
