About
Ocean Rafting’s Whitsunday tours visit the “wild side” of the Whitsunday Islands, the uninhabited islands with beautiful natural scenery brimming with marine, bird and animal life. Ocean Rafting operates two exciting Whitsunday tours daily from Coral Sea Marina in Airlie Beach, the Northern Exposure and Southern Lights, carrying guests on an adventure to experience some of the Whitsundays’ most desirable destinations. Our guests experience Ocean Rafting’s signature adrenalin fuelled action while exploring the islands, inlets and beaches on custom built semi-rigid inflatable vessels, travelling at speeds of up to 30 knots. Ocean Rafting is proud to have special permits allowing the vessels to visit protected areas of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and offers a highly unique experience, including access to Hill Inlet, one of the Whitsundays’ most famous icons, which is found on many postcards. A visit to Hill Inlet, Whitehaven Beach and snorkelling pristine coral reefs all in one day, along with the “ride of your life”, allows for a very special adventure!

2 weeks agoWe had an excellent day out on Black Betty with Kevin, Macy and Richard who really made the day special - their energy was exceptional and they deserve a huge shout out. The boat is a lot of fun (fast) and the crew really looked after everyone throughout the day. The only improvement I could suggest would be the lunch which was mediocre at best. Definitely recommend these guys!

a week agoWOW WOW WOW - What a sensational scenic flight - Ocean Rafting scenic flight amazing - clean aircraft, friendly and informative pilot - and wow wow wow the views of Whitehaven Beach, the Islands, the Great Barrier Reef and Heart Reef, the colours of blue and turquoise breathtaking. This is a MUST DO experience, we really are blessed to have this in Australia and the experience from booking with Nathan through to the entire team, very easy and seamless, right through until when we landed (smooth landing) was without fault. What a great day - thank you.

a month agoWe went on the Northern exposure day trip and it was phenomenal. The vibe on the boat was so cool and we couldn't have asked for better guides with Daisy and Tom. Everything was way beyond my expectation even the lunch was delicious. We got to see heaps of fish and wildlife while snorkelling and beautiful corals. Anyone going to Airlie this is a must do it will make your holiday. Thanks so much guys we will be back again for sure 🤙🤙

a month agoAwesome day out today with Kurt and Richie! Fun fast boat ride and stunning locations. Our kids got extra special attention, which I'm sure will be very memorable. We will definitely do another Ocean Rafting tour if we find ourselves back in this beautiful part of the world ❤️

a month agoWhat an adventure! We had the best day on our Ocean Rafting Tour and were super impressed from start to finish. The crew were so knowledgable and gave us great information about the history and the geology of the Whitsunday Islands. We went to an amazing snorkelling spot on Hazelwood Island which was abundant with coral and marine life. Hill Inlet lookout is spectacular! And the thrill rides at the start and end of the tour out the front of Coral Sea Marina put the biggest smile on my face. Thanks Ocean Rafting Team for the best day out ever!
