This is a gem of a place. The bird aviary is a great experience. Our guide Lydia was very informative and everyone who wanted to, got a chance to hold a bird. The macaws were so impressive. Then we went to visit the very cute farm animals. Mother nature didn't gift us with great weather but the gardens still looked beautiful and our 6 year went back twice to the boat. When the weather cleared a bit we still saw the amazing view. I would also recommend visiting the toilets for a surprise in there. Can't believe I've been to Maleny so many times and never visited here. We will definitely be back.

Was a great experience and the gardens are beautiful. The bird tour can be a little long for small children and does get quite warm, take a water bottle. If you have vouchers it’s recommended to redeem online before arriving. However you can also redeem vouchers on the day.

I enjoyed the experience of the Maleny Botanic Garden! It was exciting to be guided through the different areas where the birds fly free in the closed (netted) areas. The birds could land on your person if they choose!! They were comfortable living in their space as a guide walked us through the different bird areas. It's a beautiful place! The staff are friendly and helpful. I didn't explore the entire property on this visit but I have every intention of returning to do that!!

Such a wonderful way to spend a morning, evening or entire day. The staff are all lovely and friendly and do such a good job at ensuring the birds are respected and kept as safe as possible. Plenty of lovely spots for a picnic as well! Must do in Maleny

We love this place have been there twice. Fantastic gardens, make sure you see coco the parrot. Hand raised by a opera singer, incredible talker. The bird tour this time was too rushed. Would have liked more time in the enclosure cause we love birds. Last year it was better. I understand the limited time with the large birds, but with the smaller less intimidating birds you need more time. Still a must see, especially for kids. Fell in love with the baby goats 🥰
