Welcome to the Proserpine Historical Museum.
This award-winning museum houses an extensive collection of artefacts and photographs that show the history of the Proserpine/Whitsunday area from its first inhabitants, the Gia and Ngaro people, to the early European settlers and post-war migrants. The Society aims to collect and preserve the history of the Whitsunday region and its associated communities.
