Our aim as you walk through the park is to awaken the senses, sights, sounds, smells, and tastes from the late 1800s to the early 1900s period. Helping you to immerse yourself in an exciting time of Australian history. Take a ride on our steam train or in a horse and carriage. Try panning for gold and gemstones at our Cedar Creek water wheel.

Step back in time with a visit to Timbertown Wauchope, where you can ride the steam train on a trip out through and forest and return, experience the Carriage ride around the village, observe the timber craftsmen at work, and smell the coals of the blacksmith.

Set amongst 87 acres of natural forest, Timbertown is an entire village, re-created to demonstrate the struggles and achievements of Australia's pioneers in the Timber industry.

Within the park, they have two programs the first being History Alive during NSW School holidays and everyday Timbertown out of peak holiday periods.
