Recognised as one of Queensland's most important heritage sites, the building has undergone works and is now open to the public as a House museum. Visitors can gain insight into colonial life in the early days of Queensland, plus visit the William Robinson Gallery.

A one-hour guided tour is available on request. Find out who lived in the House and their family connections, how each of the stately rooms was used, the grand social gatherings that took place here, and the events that occurred at the House which helped shape Queensland's history.
