Noosa Surf lessons specialise in teaching beginners and intermediate surfers in private or small groups. We offer multi-lesson packages, gift vouchers and surf hire.

The weather and water temperature at Noosa Heads are fantastic all year round. We do provide wetsuits during the colder months when the water temperature can get down to 19 or 20 degrees Celcius. But in the warmer months, we provide long sleeve rash shirts to help with sun protection(we also provide sunscreen) and to reduce rashes. We have a large range of sizes of soft beginner surfboards – from 6ft 4inch to 9ft 6 inches. The larger the board – the easier it is to stand up.

Our instructors are fully qualified surf lifesavers with First Aid and Resuscitation qualifications as well as being Level 1 Surf Coaches. We recommend 8 yrs and above for our daily 2-hour lessons but do often take younger kids if their parents are happy to assist in the water. Younger kids can also find it a challenge to last for a 2-hour lesson.
