Katie Rose Cottage Hospice is a community-driven service. The community provides the majority of our funding with Queensland Health.
The Hospice is a fully-accredited, not-for-profit, 24/7 palliative care service providing for those in our community facing a terminal illness. The service is provided at no cost, however, being a not-for-profit organisation, all donations are gratefully accepted.
Another team of volunteers is working on various fund-raising initiatives and members of the public have pledged generous financial and practical support.
We are always happy to welcome new members of the hospice gardening team along with housekeeping, maintenance and personal care volunteers. There is something for everyone!
