The route starts from The Ballarat Train Station or can be started at any of the landmarks and points. The journey focuses on hidden laneways, art galleries and studios, antique and local gift stores, quirky cafes and beautiful scenery. Pick and choose what you want to do.
It takes 3-4 hrs including stopping at our recommended spots. For full slow travel cred, walk it, but if you’re feeling a bit lazy you can easily take your bicycle or a scooter. The route follows footpaths that are disability friendly and you can also just do part of the route if you wish. The main point is to slow down and enjoy the experience!
