The Coral Sea Outrigger Canoe Club Incorporated was formed by a group of enthusiastic paddlers in 1995 at Magnetic Island. Early in 1998, the Club was relocated to the prime location on the redeveloped Strand. Our canoes are located on the beach near the Rockpool end of the Strand.
We are a diverse group of paddlers, from Juniors to Golden Masters, and from all corners of the globe – including Australia, New Zealand, Cook Islands, Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, Hawaii, France, Asia, Europe and continental Africa.
Every year we hold a beginner's challenge, and regular 'come and try' days.
