The Ballarat East Neighbourhood House was established for the benefit of local residents and the broader community of the Ballarat East area including Ballarat East, Canadian, Eureka, Golden Point, Mount Pleasant, Warrenheip and surrounds.
We run activities and classes to offer opportunities to our community to connect with each other and increase social opportunities.
We run classes such as Watercolour, Drawing Group, Art for Relaxation, Reading and Writing, Tai Chi, Gentle Yoga, Digital Essentials, Be Connected Digital Literacy (free), Auslan - Sign Language, Alexander Technique and Hypnotherapy-Meditation.
Activities run by our House at Barkly Square include Kids' Club, Tuesday Playgroup in Partnership with the Ballarat Toy Library, Chatty Wednesdays, Winter Woollies, Walking Group and the Ballarat East Town Hall Gardens Restoration Group.
