Discover all Melbourne's stunning and iconic sights from a unique water-level perspective. After a quick briefing and paddling lesson, participants will get kitted up and head downriver under the Princes Bridge and into the heart of Melbourne. The tour will continue along the Yarra River past Flinders Station and up to the iconic Polly Woodside Tallship at South Wharf before entering the Docklands precinct and the beautiful Yarra's Edge Marina.
After a short break, the paddlers then head back upstream past Crown Casino and the lively South Bank district before finishing back at Boathouse Drive.
The Eureka Tower is only a short stroll from the end of your Kayak Tour and offers incredible views of the city and surrounding area. Trace your paddling route from Docklands to the thriving restaurant scene at Southgate and peer out over Port Phillip Bay and the Dandenong Ranges. A fantastic way to get two very unique views of Melbourne!
Boathouse Drive directly across the Yarra River from Federation Square. The tour ends at the Parks Victoria landing at Southgate, just a short stroll from Eureka Skydeck 88, Flinders Street Station and the city.
What to Bring:
A sun hat, sunscreen and sunglasses especially during the warmer months. You can wear your normal street clothes but you may want to bring a change of clothes if you are going out afterwards.

a month agoWe went on city sights Kayak tour on 7th April 24. It was raining in the morning. Fortunately, the sky was clear from the start of our tour. Our instructors Gush & Adam were very helpful. This was our first time Kayaking and we were quite nervous at the start. Instructors were there to help and guide us in our 2.5 hour tour. City view was spectacular and I would recommend everyone to take a tour to experience the paddle and to enjoy the South bank buzzing activity that can make the whole experience worth it. 😀

Matt and Aiden were excellent guides, really knowledgeable and funny, I would absolutely recommend anyone interested whether local or visiting to make a booking to enjoy a remarkable evening on the river.

3 months agoMy partner and I had the most incredible experience kayaking through the Yarra River with them! Great sunset views and yummy food were the perfect combination for our date. Moreover, the guise, Gus, shared very interesting facts about Melbourne's history and made the experience more memorable with his jokes.

3 weeks agoThe tour was very beautiful, fun and entertaining as we kayaked through the yarra river.The tour guides Gus and Aden were exceptional as they guided us through the history of the yarra river while we were in the water. The kayaks were comfortable and really good quality.They provide delicious dinner served to you at your kayak during the break.Overall i would highly reccomend this tour of the yarra river to all ages.
